Valentino Rossi Raih Posisi Tiga Pembalap Terbaik (Star of the Year) Versi Crash.

MotoGP Update -- Valentino Rossi menduduki posisi dua klasemen akhir MotoGP 2016. Namun, dalam jajak pendapat situs balap otomotif Crash.net, The Doctor menduduki posisi ketiga.

Pemilih atau voters dalam jajak pendapat itu ialah pengunjung situs Crash.net. Hasilnya dari total 70 ribu partisipan, Rossi menduduki posisi tiga.

Dari skala 1-10, Rossi mendapat nilai 8,4. Rekan setim Rossi di MotoGP 2016, Jorge Lorenzo menempati posisi tujuh. Ia hanya mendapat nilai 6,2 dari angka maksimal 10.

Raihan Rosssi kali ini kalah bagus ketimbang jajak pendapat yang dilakukan Crash tahun lalu. Saat itu, meski finis di posisi dua klasemen akhir MotoGP 2015, Rossi dinilai sebagai pembalap terbaik dan menduduki posisi Star of the Year 2015 pertama.

Dua nama belum diumumkan, yakni juara dunia MotoGP 2016 Marc Marquez dan pebalap Suzuki yang kini jadi rekan Rossi di Yamaha, Maverick Vinales. Kedua pebalap inilah kandidat kuat bintang MotoGP 2016 di posisi pertama dan kedua.
